HOUSE INTRO - Bond No.9 Joe A.'s Decants

HOUSE INTRO - Bond No.9

Bond No. 9 is a New York–based niche fragrance house founded in 2003 by Laurice Rahmé. The brand was created as an olfactory tribute to New York City itself, with each fragrance inspired by a specific neighborhood, street or facet of city life. From the outset, Bond No. 9 aimed to capture the energy, diversity and ambition of NYC in scent form.

Bond No. 9 fragrances are known for their bold compositions and confident presence. These are not subtle skin scents. Many releases lean expressive and luxurious, often blending modern sweetness, woods and musks in a way that feels distinctly urban. Performance is generally strong, making them fragrances designed to be noticed rather than discovered quietly.

Beyond the scents, Bond No. 9 has built a recognizable identity through its star-shaped bottles and unapologetic branding. The house embraces personality and visibility, much like the city that inspires it. Love them or find them a bit loud, Bond No. 9 fragrances are rarely forgettable and that’s exactly the point.

Joe A.’s Starter Pack

Bleeker Street
Sweet fruits, woods and warmth blended into an easy crowd-pleaser. Approachable, versatile and one of the house’s most beloved releases.

Lafayette Street
Smooth amber, apple and florals with a modern polish. Confident, clean and incredibly wearable.

Scent of Peace for Him
Fresh citrus and woods with a bright, optimistic feel. A classic Bond No. 9 that still holds its place today.

Bond No. 9 is New York in fragrance form, bold, ambitious and unapologetically present.

What say you, guys? Have you gotten your nose on any of these, and if so, what’s been your experience? Do you enjoy Bond No. 9’s loud, city-forward style or do you prefer something more restrained? If you had to rep one NYC-inspired bottle, which one gets the call? Love to hear from ya!
