What makes a frag smell "Expensive"?
Share
Some time ago, I began a series of posts exploring non-scented adjectives and their impact on how the average Joe perceives fragrances. My aim was to ignite conversations about how descriptive words can convey the "ethos" of a scent profile—delving deeper than just notes and accords in order to capture the true "character" of a fragrance. The discussions have been incredibly insightful so far!
This post, in lieu of my usually long-winded premise, I'd like to submit an article for your consideration:
What say you, Gents? What fragrances do you consider smell "expensive"? Is this helpful in leveraging the power of scent to your advantage? Could scents you consider smelling expensive actually be perceived as "trash" by others? Or is this all clever marketing tricks used by money hungry, "C"reedy fragrance companies? Love to hear from 'ya!
